Psoriasis Research Study – Now Enrolling

Who can participate? Adults 18 - 70 years old who have moderate or severe plaque psoriasis (itchy, scaly patches of skin).

What is the purpose of the study? Like many skin conditions, psoriasis can be both difficult to control, and can also take a toll on self-esteem, causing sufferers to feel embarrassed or self-conscious. Although there are many medications available, they do not work for everyone and can sometimes cause unwanted side effects. This is why doctors and researchers are working to develop new medications that may better treat psoriasis in the future. This study is evaluating an investigational oral medication for psoriasis, when taken daily for 12 weeks.

How long will the study last? The study lasts about 5 months and involves periodic visits to your local study doctor’s office. These visits allow your doctor to closely monitor your progress, and discuss your overall experiences.

Where? The study is being offered at select centres in Canada.

Is there any cost to me? No, if you qualify and choose to join the study, you will receive all study-related care at no cost. You will also be compensated for your time and travel to attend required study visits.
